The Striper tournament was pretty tuff this year due to a lot of water, water and more water. The biggest striper for the tournament won $120.00 and Roger Priong won it again this year with a 15 lb striper.

The wildlife department is stocking trout every week in July. Due to high water the trout fishing is tuff too. Fish behind J-hooks, this is the key.

If you would like, try some catfishing. Worms, cut bait and livers are working.

Yes, the fish are here, you just need to come to MarVal and try your luck. Bring the whole family there’s a lot to do.
