The great folks at Green Country Oklahoma invite you to join the fun at dozens of fairs, festivals, and events each year. Head to a family-oriented festival and snap photos of your kids smiling through painted faces and clouds of cotton candy. December 2-4, 9-11, and 16-18

The First 3 weekends in December at Marval are the most magical time of the year. Every Saturday is packed with activities. Plant a Christmas tree seed in our magic Christmas Tree Farm, with a little magic from our Christmas Fairy. You can come back and pick up your live Christmas tree!! Train rides around our resort will allow you to enjoy all of our Christmas lights.

We have a campsite decorating contest and the winners get a prize. Ugly sweaters are a must; enter our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and you just might win the prize. Join us for some delicious sugar cookies and hot cocoa at our Hot Cocoa Bar, and while you are there you can meet and have your picture taken with Santa, the Grinch, and Elsa from Frozen. Christmas-themed crafts will be available at the Activities Center. End your magical day at The Stargazer Outdoor Theater for a classic Christmas Movie.

Castle Christmas

Go medieval this holiday season at the Castle of Muskogee‘s Castle Christmas! This annual spectacular offers a huge variety of entertainment for families and visitors of all ages. Enjoy a free drive-through experience where you can marvel at the thousands of lighted seasonal displays and decorations, then park the car and choose from fun activities like a holiday train ride through the castle grounds, an old-fashioned tractor-drawn hayride, and camel rides on Cletus the Camel!

Stop in on the weekends to let the kids meet Santa, grab a light dinner or just some hot cocoa and sweet treats while enjoying holiday movies in Rudolph’s Cafe, and browse the many unique holiday merchants to find the perfect gifts to complete your holiday shopping list!

Garden of Lights

Head to Honor Heights Park in Muskogee to enjoy a dazzling holiday display at the Garden of Lights. Honor Heights is known as the crown jewel in the city’s public parks system, and the Garden of Lights is one of this local treasure’s most popular annual events. Drive through to see the shimmering lights and magical displays set up along the more than 100 acres of this beautiful park, then park by the pond and enjoy a leisurely stroll to take in some of the decorations there. You can even stop by the concession stand on the park’s north pavilion to pick up some seasonal goodies and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show!

Arvest Winterfest

This holiday season, treat your family and guests to some all-ages fun at Arvest Winterfest! Held each year at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa, this annual celebration offers just about everything you could ask for, from train rides on the Winterfest Express and pictures with Santa to horse-drawn carriage rides and ice skating under the Tulsa skyline! Botanic Garden of Lights

Enjoy the bright lights of the holiday season in some beautiful natural surroundings at the Tulsa Botanic Garden‘s Botanic Garden of Lights. Each winter, the two acres of the garden are set aglow with magical lighted displays, and garden visitors are invited to take part in holiday activities like seasonal crafts, meetings with Botanical Saint Nick, children’s train rides, and even smores kits to make some sweet treats over the on-site firepits!

Timed entry tickets are required, and this is a limited-capacity event, so reserving your tickets in advance is recommended.
