We’ve established the following General Campground Guidelines to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment, while in our park and the same to our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of refund.
Speed Limit: is 10 MPH. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember…Children are playing!
General Information: Welcome Center, Store, Laundromat, Game Room and Pool area hours are posted at each individual area.
Activities and Entertainment Schedules are posted at the Welcome Center/Store.
Holidays / Special Events
There is a 3-night minimum reservation, and payment in full at time of reservation, required for all holidays and special events. 2019 Holiday Rates Apply To:
- Spring Break: March 15th to March 24th
- Memorial Day: May 24th to May 27th
- Independence Day: July 3rd to July 7th
- Labor Day: August 30th to September 2nd
- Fall Break: October 17th to October 20th (3-night minimum)
- Halloween: October 4th to 6th, October 11th to 13th and October 25th to 27th (2-night minimum)
LODGING: Check-In time is 3 p.m. and Check-Out time is 11 a.m. If you intend to arrive before 3 p.m., please notify our office and we will make every effort to have your lodging unit available. However, we can’t guarantee its availability until 3 p.m.
CAMPSITES: Check-In time is 2 p.m. and Check-Out time is Noon If you intend to arrive before 2 p.m., please notify our office and we will make every effort to have your campsite available. However, we can’t guarantee its availability until 2 p.m.
Trash and Garbage must be tied in plastic bags. The dumpster is located at the south end of the park by the RV and Boat Storage. Please keep your site/cabin neat and leave it clean for the next park guests.
Pet-Friendly Policy: Cabins or Lodges
We welcome your pet to our campground. All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet and we will book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge subject to availability. We charge a $25.00 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 Pet Limit). We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended in your cabin or lodge and that your pet will take care of you – making sure that you clean up after him or her. We have cabins and lodges set aside for pets and their owners since some of our other guests are allergic to pets. Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.
Pet-Friendly Policy: RV Sites
We welcome your pet to our campground. All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet (2 Pet Limit). There will be no charge for bringing your pet with your RV. We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended outside or erecting any type of fence or pen around your site. When your pet is taking you for a walk, it must be on a leash – making sure that you clean up after him or her.
Pet Policy: Tent Camping
We do not allow any pets at all in tents. If your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a tent. You will be asked to leave without any refund.
Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any Legacy RV Resort. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
Campfires are permitted only in fire rings provided. You may pick up fallen limbs to burn but DO NOT cut trees.
Smoking is not allowed in any buildings at Marval Resort, including cabins. If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our lodging units, cabins or rentals you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250.
Clotheslines are not permitted.
Fireworks and Firearms are prohibited on park property. Includes BB, Airsoft and pellet guns.
Pool Areas: No Lifeguard is on Duty. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area. NO cotton is allowed. Only bathing suits permitted in pool, no cotton material permitted (ie. cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.). No outside food, beverage or coolers are allowed in the pool areas.
Quiet Time is 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. NO excessive noise or public disturbances.
Loud or offensive noises, rowdiness, or ill-mannered conduct will not be tolerated at any time.
Children: An adult (18 years or older) MUST accompany any child under 12 around the Children’s pond or by the river.
Fishing is provided FREE to children under 12 years old in the pond. All Oklahoma fishing regulations apply when fishing in the Lower Illinois River.
Visitors: Your visitors are always welcome at Marval Resort, as long as they register at our Welcome Center/Store. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines. Guidelines are presented at time of Check-In. All your visitors must register, pay Day-Use Fees, if applicable, and leave resort by 10 p.m.
Recreational Vehicles: No battery-operated vehicles nor motor-driven cycles, bikes or scooters are to be driven in the park. You may operate any golf cart that you rent from Marval Resort, provided you follow those guidelines, but you may not bring your own personal golf cart to the park.
Forms of Payments: We accept Visa, Master Card, cash or money orders. Sorry, no checks.
Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) and washing of vehicles & RV’s are not permitted in the park. You may check with the local listings for businesses that provide these services.
Responsibility: You are responsible for damage caused by yourself and/or members of your camping party.
Drones: For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Metal Detectors: These are not permitted to be used in the park.
Violation of these Guidelines is grounds for ejection from the park WITHOUT refund.
Liability: Neither Marval Resort nor any of its employees are responsible for accidents, injuries or losses from any cause.
